Artist Statement
I have been working in fiber since 1970 as a knotter of miniature tapestry adornments. Drawing inspiration from my travels and love of nature, I design knotting patterns in washable nylon thread to integrate with gemstones, fossils, picture jaspers, and found objects. My pieces are finished with 14K gold-filled clasps and ear wires.

Each piece is an exploration in pattern, color and texture. When the harmony is right between stone and tapestry, there can be a peaceful resonance which communicates to the wearer and those around her.
