Artist Statement
Jennifer Star has been a resident of Cambria since 1997, having moved here with her husband after 22 years of living and starting a family in the Sierra foothills and mountains of Calaveras County.

Her creative and artistic pursuits are many and diverse, including square mandala greeting cards, designed from photos she’s taken or artwork she has created; and books from start to finish – writing and/or editing content, graphic design of the book, and in some cases, printing and binding the book herself. Jennifer’s recent self-published work is her haiku poetry in three forms: a limited-edition handmade hardback edition, a paperback edition, and unique mini-book editions bound in the structure of a matchbook.
